Refund Policy

1. Overview

This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which Glorelion Journeys ("Company," "we," "our," or "us") provides refunds for its travel planning advisory services. We are committed to ensuring client satisfaction and maintaining transparency in all financial matters related to our service engagements.

Our services consist of informational and advisory travel planning, including itinerary preparation, destination recommendations, digital travel guide creation, trip planning support, and travel consultations. Because of the nature of these services — which involve significant research, analysis, and customized intellectual work — our refund policy reflects the time, expertise, and resources invested at each stage of the engagement.

This policy applies to all service tiers offered by Glorelion Journeys, including Route Clarity, Journey Architecture, and Full Planning Studio engagements, as well as any individual or custom advisory services.

2. Important Clarification

Glorelion Journeys provides advisory and informational services only. We do not book flights, hotels, transportation, or any travel services on behalf of clients. We do not process payments to third parties and do not manage client funds. Therefore, this refund policy pertains exclusively to fees paid for Glorelion Journeys' own planning and advisory services. Any refund requests related to third-party travel bookings (airlines, hotels, car rentals, etc.) must be directed to those respective providers, as Glorelion Journeys has no authority or ability to issue refunds for services it did not provide or payments it did not receive.

3. Cancellation Before Work Begins

3.1 Full Refund Eligibility

If you cancel your service engagement before any planning work has commenced, you are eligible for a full refund of any fees paid. A cancellation request must be submitted in writing via email within forty-eight (48) hours of your initial payment. "Before work begins" means that no research, consultation, itinerary drafting, or any other substantive planning activity has been initiated on your behalf.

3.2 Processing Time

Full refunds for pre-commencement cancellations will be processed within seven (7) to fourteen (14) business days from the date your cancellation request is confirmed. The refund will be issued to the original payment method used for the transaction.

4. Cancellation After Work Has Begun

4.1 Partial Refund Structure

Once planning work has commenced, cancellation requests will be evaluated based on the stage of completion and the resources already invested. The following guidelines apply:

  • If less than 25% of the planned work has been completed, you may be eligible for a refund of up to 75% of the total service fee
  • If between 25% and 50% of the planned work has been completed, you may be eligible for a refund of up to 50% of the total service fee
  • If between 50% and 75% of the planned work has been completed, you may be eligible for a refund of up to 25% of the total service fee
  • If more than 75% of the planned work has been completed, no refund will be issued, as the majority of research, planning, and advisory work has already been performed

4.2 Assessment of Completion

The percentage of work completed will be assessed by Glorelion Journeys based on the scope outlined in the original service agreement. This assessment considers research hours invested, consultation sessions conducted, draft materials prepared, and digital content created. We will provide a transparent breakdown of work completed at the time of your cancellation request.

5. Completed Services

Once all deliverables have been provided and the service engagement has been completed — including delivery of all digital travel guides, itinerary outlines, planning materials, and completion of all included advisory sessions — no refund will be issued. The intellectual work, research, and customized materials created for your specific travel planning needs represent the full value of the service rendered.

Delivered digital materials remain yours to keep and use for personal travel planning purposes regardless of whether you ultimately proceed with the planned trip.

6. Dissatisfaction and Revision Requests

If you are not satisfied with the planning materials or advisory guidance received, we encourage you to contact us before requesting a refund. Glorelion Journeys is committed to client satisfaction and will work with you to address concerns through:

  • Revision of itinerary structure or route recommendations based on your feedback
  • Additional consultation sessions to better align planning with your preferences
  • Modification or expansion of digital travel materials to address specific concerns
  • Re-evaluation of destination recommendations based on updated preferences or new information

Each service tier includes a specified number of revision rounds. Additional revisions beyond the included scope may be subject to supplemental fees, which will be communicated and agreed upon before any additional work begins.

7. Exceptional Circumstances

Glorelion Journeys recognizes that exceptional circumstances may arise that necessitate special consideration. In the following situations, we may offer additional flexibility beyond the standard refund terms:

  • Documented medical emergencies affecting the client or immediate family members that prevent travel
  • Government-issued travel bans or restrictions affecting the planned destination that were not foreseeable at the time of engagement
  • Natural disasters or significant safety events affecting the planned destination
  • Significant service delays on our part that materially affect the usefulness of the planning materials

Each exceptional circumstance request will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Supporting documentation may be required. The decision regarding refund amount in exceptional circumstances is at the sole discretion of Glorelion Journeys, though we commit to acting reasonably and in good faith.

8. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  • Send a written refund request to our email address (provided below) with the subject line "Refund Request"
  • Include your full name, the date of your original purchase, and the service tier or engagement description
  • Provide a brief explanation of the reason for your refund request
  • If applicable, include any supporting documentation for exceptional circumstance claims

We will acknowledge receipt of your refund request within two (2) business days. A formal response with our assessment and decision will be provided within seven (7) business days of receiving your complete request. If additional information is needed, we will contact you promptly.

9. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed within fourteen (14) business days from the date of approval. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. Depending on your payment provider, it may take an additional five (5) to ten (10) business days for the refund to appear in your account. We are not responsible for delays caused by payment processors or financial institutions.

10. Non-Refundable Items

The following are not eligible for refunds under any circumstances:

  • Consultation sessions that have already been conducted and completed
  • Administrative fees, if applicable, associated with processing or account setup
  • Services that have been fully delivered and accepted by the client
  • Custom research or analysis that has been completed and shared with the client
  • Rush or expedited service fees for work that has been completed on an accelerated timeline

11. Service Credits

In some cases, instead of a monetary refund, Glorelion Journeys may offer service credits that can be applied toward future planning engagements. Service credits do not expire and can be used for any service tier. The offer of service credits as an alternative to a cash refund will always be presented as an option, not a requirement, and you may choose to receive a monetary refund instead if eligible under this policy.

12. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. The refund terms applicable to your engagement will be those in effect at the time of your purchase, not at the time of your refund request, ensuring that you are always governed by the terms you agreed to when engaging our services.

13. Governing Law

This Refund Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, United States. Any disputes arising from this policy shall be resolved in accordance with the dispute resolution procedures outlined in our Terms of Service.
